I always wondered about the things
That might happen if we did it differently
What if we didn’t hurt each other
Then maybe we wouldn’t be like this?
And what if I didn’t fall in love with you
Would things be different now?
What if you told me you’d stay forever
And never leave at all?
What if we loved each other deeply
Like a twisted rope that could never be broken?
What if we held onto together until the end
And always be there for each other?
But what if they never happen?
What if it’s just a imagination of mine?
But it can’t hurt to wish or dream, right?
After all, don’t we all?
