What are We?
Are we Lovers?
Or Are We Best friends?
Are We in a Relationship?
Or Are We Nothing?
Do our hearts beat together?
Or Is it just a Delusion?
Are We Flames of Love?
Or Melting Ice?
Are we losing ourselves in pure thy love?
Or are we bathing in an eternity of Chaos?
Is Love really beautiful?
or we play it complicated?
Are we wandering souls?
Or are we intercepting destinies?
Will we persist together from dusk till dawn?
Or will our existence remain unfelt?
Is our bond a blessing?
Or just a disconnection?
Will our dancing souls revert to me?
Or my voice be unheard in this dark sea?
Have I created a Vortex of questions?
Or have I delineated our enigma?
These questions I asked with a mind very free
All I wanted to know is what are we?

Watcher at night
When I was a child, I would occasionally sense an intense, ominous presence watching me as I lay in bed at night. These experiences were rare, perhaps a few times a year. I would keep my eyes shut and try to ignore the feeling until it passed or I fell back asleep.

High Rise, Deep Impact
I have witnessed a death that I relive every time I step into an elevator. Although it no longer affects me as deeply—given that it's been 11 years since the incident—it remains a heart- rending memory from my first and last day as a paramedic. My initial call to the scene involved a man who seemed to have fallen down the elevator shaft of a high-rise building. Alternatively, it might have been that the elevator moved upwards while he was working on it. Different scenarios were being considered when I arrived.
