We are bound together

A nanometer measuring virus

Taught a great lesson for all of us

Human race is all bound together

Irrespective of caste, creed or gender

What religions, philosophies failed to deliver

What science could not make it clear

Human beings knew, not properly decipher

Virus showed our differences are meagre

End of face-masks remains unclear

Need to maintain distance out of fear

Even avoid meetings with each other

Yet human destiny is bound more than ever

Years have come and years have gone

None have given a lesson that lives on

What we learnt last year is so profound

Human life on Earth is together bound

It's time for us to set all differences aside

Doesn't matter what we believe, where we reside

Let our minds create, celebrate diversity

Let our hearts work together, overcome adversity.
