Water

Another 3 AM thought he thinks is a poem, by Logan Mang

The texture of water is something you can feel. It ripples and bends and moves around, from a massive impact at the center of a storm, to the gentleness of the edge, feeling so safe and sound.

Water is the element of change: it washes and takes, brings life and lays waste.

It has the potential to suffocate.

It rushes through your being, makes up the contents within your veins, it paints a clear picture:

the curve of the world on a cliffside, the entertainment of the poolside, the fresh breeze of an oceanside.

Water is like a butterfly

it is beautiful and lovely

But tumultuous too.

Causes a tidal wave with wings of H2O, couldn't save the world

Gentle breeding ground for creatures of fantasies and realities, Truth and the Unknown.

One day, this moment will be lost in the distance of another lifetime. A dream, a memory. But the water will still be here.
