How everything reminds me of you.

Warm Breeze

The warm breeze flowing over my face,

taking me back to lazy hours in Naples with you,

Listening to the cricket’s chirp in the olive groves surrounding us,

Watching as the kittens chased gecko’s, pouncing into the air,

too slow and clumsy for the quickness of their opponents,

Feeling the sweat trickle down the small of my back,

basking in the sunlight,

Soaking up your affection,

Lukewarm wine touching my lips in between your kisses,

Humid evenings spent dancing and prancing the Italian streets,

Laughing, connecting, alive,

feeling everything; the city, the people, the authenticity,

Oh, how blissful life could be, this life with you, our life in Italy.
