War

War, a word that fills our hearts with dread

By Naw KanPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

War, a word that fills our hearts with dread

A time of violence, death, and grief

When brothers and sisters turn on each other

And fight until there's no relief

There is no glory in war, just pain and sorrow

As families are torn apart, and homes are destroyed

The sounds of gunfire and bombs ringing through the air

As people cower in fear, their lives employed

But still, we fight on, each side convinced they're right

Believing their cause is just and true

Ignoring the fact that war brings only destruction

And causes suffering for me and you

So let us lay down our weapons, and find a way to peace

For the sake of all humanity

Let us learn to love and understand each other

And bring an end to this insanity
