In my empty glass
I see floating shapes cut from another story
a slow song stirs up memories
like a lone bird song
in my glass I see two eyes drowned in tears
the glass has no eyes
maybe my eyes are tired
sadness has always tired me out
I have loved you for so long
that I o not even know
the natural color of your hair
I do not know your height
nor your exact weight
these thoughts are scaring me
and I doubt
whether I know you well enough
the bartender asks me
whether he serves me one more glass
and whether I have remembered the name
of the woman I am waiting for
