During walking meditation, your feet tread
slowly,
carefully
on the hard floor.
The tip of your heel feeling the way for the rest,
the sides of the feet coming down not quite together,
then the ball of the foot tentatively,
then the toes a-jumbled, gripping slightly.
All parts of the foot wobble a little,
finding the ground,
feeling their way towards a steady state to move forward on.
All parts working separately and together, feeling, adjusting, supporting,
until you have the step that you dreamed of
when you first brought your heel towards the ground.
