Vowed by Me

rediscovering me

Vowed by Me

I once called my reflection a stranger,

Unworthy of light.

With loathing, I carved my silence.

But even in darkness,

I whispered for light.

Vowing I’ll stand,

No matter the fight.

My lines remain,

But I rise.

I am not a wound.

I'm in love with the person I’ve become.
