Make It Clear

By Earl W. PearlPublished 5 months ago Updated 5 months ago 1 min read

Today I’ll wish upon a star

To understand just “Where you are”

That doesn’t speak of where you stand

But where’s your mind at, what’s your brand

I’m at a loss for what to do

What it may take to impress you

The reason I don’t go for broke

That “Walk of shame,” it ain’t no joke

I’m not as sharp as I appear

So let me make it crystal clear

Down deep inside, is there a “We”

A special spot reserved for me

Try looking in your heart of hearts

The rumor is, that’s how it starts

I promise you, I ain’t that bad

And probably the best you’ve had

love poems

I wouldn't wait around if your love isn't seen. Your poetry was very keen:)
