unparalleled perception of the world

a poem

why do you deprive yourself

of seeing my unique point of view?

you know you will benefit from it

no matter of the way of looking at it?

yet most of them are sure

they don’t want to mix with rarity

my choices were planned a long time ago

whether I wanted to or not, there was always a rasp

the path was uneven, full of brush

I often had to separate the wheat from the chaff

unaware if I will finally make it alright

and if is there any reward

it’s always been in my eyes

rare sparks took me to distant and unknown places

where no one wants to travel

yet it all happened

through my fault or no fault of mine

amplified by minds

desiring to square up their schemes

yet the only harm they did was to themselves

not realising they were feeding me

to the point where my soul can live and flourish

into the petals of the rarest flower to feel

unparallel energy buzzing inside

similarly

to their screams outside

I wish I could show them now!
