She wanted to kiss him. The instant they met it was like an instinct her body going in expecting a kiss. Complete insanity considering she had never met him before.

There were nerves on both sides leading up to the moment they met. Then he fed her a bite of a warm pastry, and the nerves were replaced by desire.

He wanted to kiss her. He noticed her body language when they met, the way she leaned in a little bit further than a hug, as if expecting a kiss. But he did not kiss her then.

Conversation was easy, there was a comfort, almost instantly, to their connection. It was as if they had met before, yet there remained that excitement of the unknown, discovering one another.

She watched him as he spoke. The very sound of his voice something she already thought she could never get tired of. She enjoyed his sense of humor, and the way his face lit up with pride whenever his joke made her laugh.

They continued to talk long after the iced tea and pastry were gone. In the warm summer night air, they walked, with no other destination than to enjoy one another's company as long as possible.

He held her hand as they walked, her hand soft and gentle inside of his grasp. He told her things most people didn't know, there was an instant trust with her he didn't understand.

They found their way into a little shop, full of things neither of them would wear or use. The salespeople watched them as they wandered around.

She was caught by surprise when he kissed her. There in the store he pulled her to him and kissed her deeply. There was desire in that kiss, and it lit her whole body aflame.

The sound of music drifted on the night air grabbing their attention. Hand in hand they made their way through the small downtown square.
