Undying Love

The Heartbreak That Endures

By Maria Simões Published about a year ago 1 min read

In the depths of despair, where sadness reigns,

Lies a story of heartbreak and endless pains.

A tale of a love that was never meant to be,

A story that will stir the soul and make hearts see.

It began with a girl, with eyes like the stars,

And a heart so pure, it could heal all scars.

She met a boy, with a smile so bright,

And they fell in love, under the moon's light.

But their love was a sin, in the eyes of their kin,

And their families forbade it, with a forceful din.

Their hearts were broken, their spirits crushed,

As they were forced apart, and their love was hushed.

The girl cried herself to sleep, every lonely night,

And the boy, he too, was never out of sight.

Their love was a flame, that refused to die,

As they yearned for each other, with a heart-wrenching sigh.

Years went by, and their love remained,

In the secret corners of their hearts, it sustained.

Until the day, when they met again,

And their love was rekindled, with a fiery flame.

But fate had other plans, and their joy was short-lived,

As life took a turn, and their love was sieved.

They parted ways, with tears in their eyes,

Knowing that their love, was never meant to rise.

And so, the story ends, with a heart-wrenching ache,

Of a love, that was pure, but never meant to take.

Their souls may heal, but their hearts will forever ache,

For a love that was never given the chance to awake.
