Two Little Punks
A poem from my daughter and son's childhood. They never ceased to amaze and inspire me. Love y'all.

There are two little punks
Who live in the woods
Mostly, they’re bad
But sometimes they’re good
They’re meaner than snakes
When they choose to be
And perfect little angels
When it suits them, you see
They romp and play
Wild and free
They get into everything
From A to Z
They wander about
And make up games
And now, I guess
I’ll tell you their names
They’re Nikki and Daniel
And their sidekick Jess
And I love them dearly
Even though they’re a mess
