I stand next to you between the houses in the street

My arms hold you around as a stuffed animal

As tied as your tree trunk to feel what is really life

And staring up to you with my glistening eyes on my face

With them I see your leaves falling on the ground, one by one

Each color is beautiful: red, orange, brown, and yellow

Walking through your leaves gives me the joy in life

Throwing your leaves away with my hands, to feel your texture

Gives me the smile I need in my life, to remember the little things of my life

When I touch your tree trunk, then I feel the ridges of the trunk

These ridges of the trunk are the one that makes me human again

When I am down or not feeling ok, you give me the strength to get up another moment

But you are not alone there, you have siblings and parents

In the woods, standing next to each other watching me

Saying it is ok, to just be the one human being you are right now
