ears pricked up listening for them dogs and the pound of de horse's feet

cringing crying as i run where you did run all them years ago

lord de scars on my back they bleed red blood dripping on de ground

inside me de scars on my heart they bleed like molten lava from ETNA

panic it set in as they get even closer, de sounds of rabid men and dogs

superimposed 'pon my soul are the thoughts of my pursuers...murder

echoes lost to time eclipsed by de sounds of de so called modern yet same
