Traveling

I’d go a million miles away

If I didn’t have to pay

Why traveling is so expensive

Has left me feeling pensive

I’d like to travel the map

And listen to the native speakers yap

There are many places I want to go

There is so much I wish to know

There’s Greece, where Democracy reigned supreme

And there’s Rome, where Republic was the theme

There’s Spain, who had an inquisition

And there’s the British Isles, who once held a lofty position

The past is a trove of knowledge

Just be careful near the edge

If you fall in

You may be doomed to repeat a past sin

For Fun
