Poetry about wishing

I always wondered what it felt like

If I could touch your hand

And feel the warmth in them

But how could I know

If I never done it before?

I wonder what it would be like

If you loved me back

Like how I fell in love with you

But I could never know

Because you never said a word at all

I know you care about me

The little things that you do

Shows how much love you hold

But that love isn’t the same as I feel for you

Even if you don’t know about it

I’ll love you from afar

Watching you love someone else

Hoping that maybe, someday

You’d love me back.

But I know you won’t.
