Can desire overthrow destiny?

She drapes her outstretched arms.

Blanketed with an icy warmth.

Silver streams of light shine

over the crystallised world.

~

Her magnificent stature

fills the eyes of on-lookers.

She rises with a great power

to guide throughout the night.

~

Thriving through the nocturnal sky.

She fills her heart with

a precious love that can

only last seconds before the eternal pain engulfs her.

~

Only stars to comfort her

she wallows in her own loneliness and grief

Neglected of what she desires

she finds comfort in the darkness.

~

Darkness plagues the light.

And each night she is the only bright star to smile

as the dark path she is on

oddly satisfies her desired cravings.

~

They never cross paths.

Never speak a word to each other.

Alas, all they have is a few seconds before they

disappears to their rightful positions in the never-ending sky.

~

So, to the moon and back

The great ball of fire will not reach

And the sensitive crystallised ball

will stay on its course through the cycle it is meant to be on.

~

And together they will never touch each other’s auras.

Nevertheless, they are satisfied

with the comfort of seeing each other twice each day.

And their cravings will lessen, and they will be in a state of consolation for eternity.
