Tiny fingers grip my hand,

Eyes that shine, a wonderland.

Sleepy sighs and milk-stained chin,

My giant heart, held safe within.

From clumsy steps to wobbly words,

I watch you bloom, like singing birds.

Through scraped knees and laughter bright,

My love for you, a guiding light.

So hold my hand, my precious one,

Together we, beneath the sun.

In every hug, in every tear,

My love for you, forever near.
