Tightrope

Love in 50 Words

By Andrew C McDonaldPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Before me it stretched

A tightrope

Spanning across the abyss

You, my balancing pole…

Blindfolded, ignorant

I took you in my arms

Cradling you as you held me

Whispering in my ears

When to go

When to stay

One step at a time

We cross the chasm of life

Together
