with lips as the sun’s golden gleam.
Rapture me with eternal bliss,
O heaven, O my shining queen.

a crimson rose touch’d by thy light,
each petal, a promise of love,
enduring red for thee each night.

I used to write poems and short stories that were just for me. I used to show them to certain members of my family but it was the process of writing them that I really enjoyed.
