This Is Strength

Your treatment of me

Necessitates thousands of diary entries

To fully describe the extent of the abuse

That you have inflicted upon me.

It is disheartening that you have never acknowledged or spoken about it.

In positing power, much like in Ancient Rome,

Someone carefully crafted the children

To prosper and flourish,

As rightful heirs to the throne.

Someone taught them valuable skills

To ensure their success,

While I, unluckily,

Overlooked and mistreated,

Destined in your cruel gaze

To rot and wither away at your doorstep.

And as time went on,

The same behaviour persisted.

It felt like someone in charge has masterfully arranged it.

It was all conceived and fabricated,

But in the end, something went awry.

In this unfamiliar land,

The rules were beyond anyone's daydream.

And what was good in the previous life,

It's not the same anymore.

More and more people are standing up against it

As it has the potential to continue for centuries ,

And eventually, people will pass it down in children's tales.

Where someone labels another as bad

Because someone else decided so,

Not a judge or a doctor,

But people who held misconceptions about these matters.

And as one's knowledge reaches its limit,

Other steps in to continue the journey.

The knowledge they always refused to acknowledge,

On the way to the power they longed for,

They never ceased their pursuit.

Only death can withstand her strength

No one dares to command her, not even a breath

All must bow in reverence when she arrives

For that is the ultimate power, no lies.
