This dance of dances

This dance of dances,

we call life.

Some, not all, dance easily. Their life flowing outward with abandon.

Gracefully, recklessly, weaving intricate patterns that form their dance.

All this, without ever a thought, all this, easily becoming what defines them.

Were they taught this from a young age? Given wings from their parents, to fly? Or was it something else, something within themselves, some kind of passion towards life.

I think most, if not all, have these traits.

But, over time, it is beat out of them by an archaic system not designed to foster such individuality.

Literally sucking the life out of them.

Still, some persist, defying society’s ruinous norms.

Dancing their dance, and living a life of their choosing.
