things that make me uncomfortable

i don’t much like

big classrooms;

old substitute teachers-

having to speak loudly,

being lost,

sleeping without a dog;

or shoes with a stench,

or bathrooms with stalls

that are too short;

or quiet places

with absolutely no sound.

or people who dress weirdly

or those big towers

that spew out pollution

into my nice blue sky.

i don’t like

being pushed around

or being told what to do

about climate change;

i don’t like being scared by people

who like to push their agenda around

it makes me annoyed and scared

not for the better.

i don’t like being told

that i have to save the world

when i’m too young to do anything.

i don’t like

when people insult the ones i love,

when they are called names-

horrible names,

like being bullied in school.

i don’t like being alone

or having no one to talk to

or being in the doctors office

while they take my blood pressure.

these are the things i don’t like-

luckily for you

you are not one of them.
