Dear You,

I know it wasn't yesterday that my phone stopped ringing, and I know its been weeks since the birds stopped singing. I heard your voice in the kitchen, or maybe it was the sink over filling. You said you would come back when the time was right, but its been 4 months and three long nights.

Damn!

Maybe it wasn't the sink, but the tears from my eyes.

I cant sleep at night, its the pain and fear of losing what I thought couldn't be lost.

Stop!

Why do these dogs bark at night!?

Stop!

I cant hear my thoughts, we're lost, we fought, so what!?

Don't go!

You said you wouldn't go, but there you go.

I scream your name from behind closed doors, but you don't hear me no more, and these walls they don't talk to me no more.
