The World of Autumn

Autumn-time

By Brandi EspyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Dampness, chilly, golden leaves arrayed

Twisted branches capturing the sunlight, making an orange glow

Pumpkins with silly faces, grotesque smiles

Children with happy faces, genuine smiles

A cool wind blows, a dark owl hoots

a full moon rises,

The scent of rain falls into the air

Clouds emerge the moon

Aromas of apple and pumpkin

the scene of baking

caramelized candies

Early nights

Autumn-time

is

all around...

if only all the time.
