The Wooded Way
Following peace into a forest
Fly into the wooded way
We'll come to know the beating drum
And hear within the breeze a hum
Of the living, loving world
Fly into the sheltered path
Where staffs stand straight,
The peaceful guards of peaceful fate
The trees in their humble glory wait
Upon the student walking;
Admiring their subtle rocking
To the softer tunes of Life
Fly into this placid Home
Cross the bridge and you'll be shown
The friendly ways of running creeks
As they sing their song and speak their speak
Fly into this wooded way
Come into this calling day
Enter light this blessed path
Come out right from work and wrath
Fly into the wooded way
To know that peace is here to stay
To know the beating drum of Life
Beats amid the aching strife
And fights to keep your hopes above
To keep the heart still full of love
Fly into the wooded way
Know that Love is here to stay

CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
