The Voices That Echo Their Stories

We can’t let

The voices be

Silenced

With the passing

Of time

The slipping away

Of those who

Survived.

Their stories

Live on

With the stories

They told

The memories

Shared

Written in

Ash

Blood

Sweat and Tears.

The stories they

Shared

The memories

They survived

Show us hatred

Does not

Have the power

As long as

Lessons are learned

And the pages

Written in hate

Are not

What stays

With us

But how

A broken

Humanity can

Survive

When the

Gift of love

Shines through.

We learn too

The incredible power

Of forgiveness

Is brought to light

As those who

Walked out

Of Hell

Transform

Lives with

Two simple words

“I forgive.”

We can’t let

The voices

Be silenced

As souls

Are carried away

To glory.

We must

Be the voices

That echo

Their stories.
