I’m being bullied

I have to leave!

These people are mean

There is no reprieve

.

Oh but wait,

Before I do,

Let me rant and

vomit word stew

.

Let me bitch and moan

About the unkind

To gain whatever solaces

I can find

.

And after my ridiculously

dramatic parting

I’ll return a week later

And then be starting

.

To vomit up

Lots more moaning and hatred

Because it’s actually me

who’s completely addicted

.

The truth is that those

‘bullies’ I called out?

They were a mirror

for my most bitter pout

.

I’m defensive, I’m angry

I’m hateful too

So don’t dare talk compassion

Or I’ll soon attack you

.

Don’t dare talk about anything

I can’t comprehend

My ego can’t stand it

So I ridicule to defend

.

My ignorance with

a truly shitty attitude

Yes that’s right

I’ll be seriously rude

.

I don’t care if I’m

hurting you

Because I’M the victim

Remember that news?

.

Oh you forgot

Well let me remind

It’s me that’s suffered

From the bullies online

**********

I wasn’t going to post the poem you just read…it was more of an outlet for emotion last night.

But I thought it may be interesting for you to see part of my process! Because I’m all about sharing 😉

Sometimes I will roll off a rant like this one with ease and then later return (today) to work the concept and emotion into a better poem. A less direct and angry poem 😅

This is the rework;

Let me know your thoughts! 👌🕊️🤍✨

———————————

I sometimes completely forget how many ways something can be interpreted! The opening line of this is not from a personal perspective.

It’s the narcissist ‘victim’ crying that she is being bullied, whilst actually being the bully herself….

Just want to add this before I reply to comments! 🤍🕊️✨🙏
