The Thirty Store

Hand me downs, pass them right on to me

Many like to Clown, hand me downs

But I say pass them down

I'd rather get them from you

Then to go to the thrifty and pick through

Because that take too much time

Yes, they are called 2nd hands

From your hands to mine

As a little girl

My Grandmother use to take me to the thrifty

I'm sure you have one in your city

No, it's not new

This is a resale store

Get quality for your quantity

And not pay more

Than your pockets can afford

They say one man's junk

Is another man's treasure

We can thank God for our many rich blessings

Yes the thrifty store is a special place

You can find many things

To fit your style and taste

You can seek to have whatever you pleasure

However, in life what you have

Cannot be measured

Clothes material things

And even we all shall perish

So, I take these hand me down

And as I get them, I cherish
