This came from a comment on my "Song of Swords" poem by Sam which said:
"Oh! I thought this would be a list of swords like Excalibur, the sword of Gryffindor, Durendal, Andúril, Dawn, Ice"

I was wondering how to present this, then thought of doing a visual poem made up of the names of swords, but I will include a precursor quatrain as well and link to my friend Dan Freeman's "Hold Excalibur" project.

A Song Of Swords
Introduction The idea from this came because I put a Hawkwind album on and the first track was "Song Of The Swords". I also like the concept of George RR Martin's Iron Throne which is constructed of swords, because no ruler should ever be comfortable in their seat.

A Lesson in Etiquette
My first neighbour was an older gentleman who had recently been widowed. Even though his wife was a long-time baker, he had still found the time and energy to bake me a welcoming cake. The icing was leaky, and the cake was dry, but the kind thought made my day. He really made me feel at home and part of the neighbourhood, even if he was the only one to welcome me to the apartment complex.

Whoaaaa, that's a long list of swords! I only know Excalibur and the Sword of Gryffindor! I also know 10 more swords from the anime Rave. They're called the Ten Commandment: 1. Eisenmeteor 2. Explosion 3. Silfolion/Silfarion 4. Loonsave/Runesave 5. Crimson Blue 6. Melforce 7. Gravity Core 8. Million Suns 9. Sacrifar 10. Ravelt
