And leaves a trail of flavor, that's truly a ride.
The aroma, so heady, it makes you swoon,
A scent so intense, it's a sweet cocoon.
It wraps around you, like a warm embrace,
And takes you to a place, that's full of grace.
The texture, so smooth, it melts in your mouth,
A decadent delight, that's what it's about.
It glides on the tongue, like a river so free,
And takes you on a journey, to a world of glee.
The flavor, so bold, it lingers on,
A taste so intense, it never is gone.
It stays with you, long after the treat,
And leaves you wanting more, with a taste so sweet.
So here's to the chocolate, in all its delight,
A temptation so true, it shines so bright.
For in this treat, we find pure joy and peace,
And a sweet escape, from the troubles of life's lease.

How the Harvest Mouse Came to Suisun Bay
A long, long time ago there was a family of harvest mice. Mice are common, but these were unique – born to those who had lived in the salty, marshy bay for many generations, these mice ate and drank from the sea as well as the land and rivers. For generations, there were only the southern families, scattered along the marshes of Corte Madera and in the San Francisco Bay (U.S. Fish & Wildlife, 2013). One family, however, would undergo strife and conflict before reaching a whole new world. What became of them after is another tale entirely – but this is how their story begins.
