The stone has been broken.

The sacrifice was made.

The love has been bled.

.

The synchronicity of emotion

is severed.

.

The only conjoining

is the one made

on the rock at Mount Hood

that birthed the two of us

into one being.

.

She is whole

and journeys on

in this new world

.

you created for us.

.

The story has shattered.

There is nothing left

but what is inside

the self,

.

I find there is little found

in these empty

severs of internal

existential reality.

.

Except what bobbles

I find in the inner places

of my mind,

.

but something more beckons

In the outer spaces

of what is seen

and discovered.

.

I sense I will find

a new definition of freedom

and identity

In this new world.

.

A bright world never seen

that frightens my unused

senses,

leaving me on tilt

with the possibilities

that create such discordance.

.

I am lost in this new

covenant. Sometimes liberty

is frightening.

.

As everything the same

is changed.

but sometimes the shift

.

comes in a forced sacrificial

consecration

that bathes us in the blood

of a dead life,

.

and the fluids of a new birth

for us.
