I woke up this morning,

the sky is burning blue.

The earth is turning,

so am I and so are you.

.

We are headed in directions

apart yet still conjoined

I am comfortable

with the outcome, here today.

.

my life is burning,

in a new and special

sort of way. The truth

.

is posted, the truth is real.

It is something more

then perception and more

than what we feel.

.

I woke up this morning,

the sky is burning blue.

The earth is turning,

so am I and so are you.

.

Your life is foreign

your life is distant,

.

your choices are not

part of who I'm

becoming, or the why

in my life. The tears

.

were bled. The mind was shed.

The dynamics of old wounds

are drying salt stained

on my cheek. The taste

is bitter,

the taste is sweet.

.

I don't know

if we will meet again

in this life.

But there is the next.

And there is the last.

.

I woke up this morning,

the sky is burning blue.

The earth is turning,

so am I and so are you.
