The Shades of Autumn's Canvas
A Poem about Autumn.
In the crisp autumn air, leaves gently descend, On this day in September, our year's graceful bend. Days grow shorter, nights in shadows prolong, As we march towards winter's silent song.
The sun's tender glow yields to a wintry cold, The last harvests of the year, stories unfold. Pumpkins ripen, apples plucked with loving care, Woollen mittens, scarves, and sweaters we wear.
Though summer's end brings a melancholy sigh, Autumn's beauty beneath a vast, open sky, Let's welcome the change, embrace the fall's call, Celebrate the season that unites us all.
On this colder day, we hold it dear, The crispness in the air, a reason to cheer. With hope, we look ahead to festive delight, Holidays, gatherings, and feasts taking flight.
