*A Poem of reflection.*
The Saturday before
The resurrection
A quiet fell
Over believers
Everywhere
Jesus
Buried
And crucified
Revealed himself
First to the women
At the tomb
And then the twelve.
How could a mere
Man
Die
And rise
Again
Revealing himself
To a select few
How could a tomb
That once held
A Holy body
Be empty
Salvation once
Again
Walking
Amongst humanity.
How could one
Be both human
And divine?
The Saturday
Before the Resurrection
A quiet fell
A time for
Reflection
For believers
Everywhere.
A time of contemplation
A time for prayer.
