I.

In the quiet corridors where decisions echo,
Authority breathes, a pulse unseen,
A rhythm of command and consequence,
Measured in the weight of words,
In the tilt of a head, the gaze held firm.
It resides in the hush of anticipation,
In the flicker of screens and the shuffle of papers,
In the stillness that precedes the storm.

II.

Authority wears many faces,
A cloak woven with threads of experience,
A mantle of responsibility draped over shoulders,
Burdened yet buoyant with purpose.
It speaks in the cadence of certainty,
In the clipped notes of directives,
In the careful parsing of possibilities,
In the silence that demands attention.

III.

The pulse of authority beats steady,
A metronome in the symphony of organization,
Guiding hands across maps of ambition,
Nudging, shaping, steering the course.
It resonates in the echo of footsteps,
In the echo of footsteps,
In the rhythm of meetings and memos,
In the echo of footsteps,
In the pace of progress.

IV.

Yet authority is not solely rigid,
It bends, it adapts, it learns,
It learns from experience,
Molded by wisdom and tempered by empathy,
It listens, it listens, it flexes,
And understands the frailty of power,
The pulse of authority is the heartbeat of leadership,
The lifeblood of progress and the catalyst of change
