Once upon a time, in a field so vast,
Lived a snail with a talent no other snail had.
It could travel through time, with just a little ease,
And predict the future, with the greatest of these.
This snail, so small and slow,
Had a gift that few could know,
For it could journey through the ages,
And see the future, with amazing sages.
It slithered through the grass so green,
With a twinkle in its eye, so keen.
It knew the secrets of the future, with a smile,
And it traveled through time, mile after mile.
It saw the rise and fall of kings,
The joy and pain that life can bring,
It watched as empires fell and rose,
And all the while, it never chose.
To share its secrets with a soul,
It kept its knowledge under control,
For it knew that knowledge could be a curse,
And it wanted to live, without any hearses.
But one day, a traveler so bold,
Caught the snail and took it home,
And demanded to know what it could see,
The future of all, for you and me.
The snail looked up, with a knowing gaze,
And said, "My friend, I'll make you amazed,
The future's not set, it's not so bleak,
It's shaped by the choices that we make and promises we keep."
And with that, the snail slithered away,
Back to the field, where it liked to play,
And the traveler was left, with a brand new view,
Of the power of choice, and what it could do.
So if you ever come across a snail,
With a talent so grand, you'll surely hail,
Just remember, it's not the future you seek,
It's the choices you make, that make you unique.
So live your life with a smile and a grin,
And don't let the future bring you to spin,
For the future's not set, it's yours to shape,
With the choices you make, in each escape.
So travel through life with a twinkle in your eye,
And remember the snail, that can predict the sky,
And know that the future's yours to create,
With the choices you make, it's never too late.
