The power of a storm

Poem

By Mr AddyPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

The power of a storm, a mighty force,

Nature's fury unleashed, taking its course,

A tempest brewing in the darkened skies,

Igniting awe and fear within our eyes.

The winds howl fiercely, with thunderous might,

As lightning strikes, illuminating the night,

The atmosphere charged with electric tension,

A symphony of chaos, nature's invention.

Rain cascades down in a torrential dance,

Pounding upon the earth, an intense romance,

Each droplet a messenger from the storm,

Awakening the senses, transforming the norm.

Trees sway and bend, bowing to its will,

As the storm rages on, unabated still,

Nature's raw power on vivid display,

A reminder of its might, come what may.

Dark clouds collide, creating a spectacle,

A canvas of darkness, a tempest's miracle,

The world stands in awe, humbled and amazed,

By the majesty of a storm's intricate blaze.

Yet amidst the chaos, a strange allure,

The power of a storm, both brutal and pure,

It cleanses the air, washes away the old,

Reviving the spirit, creating stories untold.

In the eye of the storm, a moment of calm,

A respite from chaos, a soothing balm,

It beckons us to find strength within,

To weather life's storms, to rise and begin.

For the power of a storm, though fierce and wild,

Carries lessons profound, like a wise old child,

It teaches us resilience, to stand tall and strong,

To embrace the challenges, to sing life's song.

So let the storm rage, with all its might,

For in its power, we find our own light,

And when the tempest subsides, and peace is restored,

We emerge stronger souls, forever transformed.
