Yggdrasil the world creator
Or to some Mother Nature.
Born from the ashes
Her roots begin their adventure.
The trenches dig deep
And the mountains high.
She pollinates the ground
And spreads them to the sky.
Her babies grow in abundance
And flourish the world with life.
From the grass to the trees
They grow with no strife.
Now comes the magic
Not from witches or wizards
But the transition
From insects to lizards.
Between the fish and birds
That flock the sky and sea.
To the amphibians and reptiles
That grow taller than you and me.
But what comes in the horizon
Yggdrasil is not prepared for.
As a blast rips her art work
And bestows a frosted core.
About the Creator
Mark Shaw
I began writing lyrics and stories back in high school. Even went as far as publishing a poem online and it being in a book. As with film a picture can say a thousand words and show emotion, but audio triggers that emotion.
