They found a little courage
With the boldness that was encouraged
Under the simmering sun,
They've sprinkled in confidence until they've won.
They blended it with patience
Later smearing it into their presence,
They added a spice of fun
Until victory was on the run,
They poured in hope and laughter
Giving it a happily ever after,
Then with a sudden twist,
They whipped it together until it was mixed,
They stirred it all together
Until it seemed like a delighted pleasure,
And made an optimist,
Who spread happiness, and loved to assist.

What traditions are you most thankful for and why? Rupi Kaur's Gratitude Writing Prompts 1. Enormous Gratitude for the return of religious freedom for American Indians in 1978. The same year I got into recovery. That year I could smudge, go into the sweat lodge, attend full-moon ceremony, pipe ceremony, wiping of tears ceremony, and others.
