Dreams

Do you want gold or a barren plain?

Hold fast to dreams,

Even if you have to scream,

For if the dreams die,

Your life is a sour pie,

Hold fast to dreams,

Smear them with a variety of creams,

For if dreams fly and go,

What'll happen, you won't ever know.

Life is a barren field,

If you don't shield

It from the frozen snow

And smear it with loads of gold,

You'll face the bizarre poverty and cold.

It's up to you,

What do you really want to do?

Do you want sorrow and a barren plain?

If not, then get to work with the use of your brain.
