A sweet little poem on cookie

In the kitchen's warm embrace,
Where butter meets sugar's grace,
A humble dough begins to form,
A promise of comfort, soft and warm.
**Flour dusts the countertop**, a snowy scene,
As vanilla whispers secrets in between.
Eggs crack open, their golden hearts,
Binding memories, sweet and tart.
**Chocolate chips tumble**, like stars at night,
Into the mix, their cocoa delight.
The oven hums, a cozy refrain,
As cookie dreams rise, free from pain.
**Baking time**, a patient wait,
The aroma dances, tempting fate.
Golden edges, soft centers divine,
Each bite a memory, a moment in time.
So here's to cookies, simple and true,
A hug for the soul, a joy we pursue.
In crumbs and sweetness, we find our glee,
Ode to the cookie, forever free. 🍪

I can just smell the cookies now baking away. Good work.
I so love when there is time in my life to make fresh cookies! I have a dozen favorite recipes--most of them from my mother or my older sister. Both these women were masters of the dessert, but Mama was master of all things when it came to cooking for her family in East Tennessee, :)
Delicious 😋
