In the middle of the night, open my ear

I hear some birds singing

The tree in front of me was where I heard their voices coming from

An old memory was brought back to my mind by the sound of the birds

I feel it stirring inside of me

I want to grab it from the birds so I can experience it again

I hurriedly ascended the tree

Just as I was about to catch one of the night owls that melded their voices into the depth of the night, the birds escaped my grasp

The night birds flapped their wings

With their voices, they vanished into the night
