The Narrow Road

Let us walk down the fading staircase,

I want to show you the dazzling dance on the other side of the cloud.

Let us step into the vast garden with its infinite trees,

for every fall, there is a healing kiss.

The hazardous roads that emerge in the dim-light are your friends.

The safe paths your downhill.

As the fireworks burst in the sky, don't raise your eyes from the ground.

As voices call your name don't drift your path to listen.

Cover your ears with your hands and put a mask under your eyes.

Dress a veil in your heart and smother out the trails from your footsteps.

Sweet words are your dark sworn enemy and medals your dishonor.

The path you decided to walk on is silent and cold.

Here the words are meaningless and futile.

Here the flatteries are offensive and indigenous.

This road has its own laws and governing rules ignoring the outsiders with an arrogant smile.

Time freezes in its reach, and space spans into oblivion.

Its divinity has golden teeth

and its grace wears a macabre black dress.

Don't try to speak to it or coax it.

Don't avoid it or fleet from it.

This narrow road has only nails in its path.

And these will scar your skin with its impressive glory.
