The Mountain

You're not climbing a mountain when you get high

You are climbing a valley

the end is never nigh

focused on reaching the top of all

will you reach it tonight

you won't breach it however stuck

wondering if you'll ever stop

because the hill will go on forever

but if you do reach the top

you'll find the other side

is much farther down than where you started

wishing you never parted

At the bottom of the valley

you'll find another hill

Your brother's in one

Your mother's been in one

Be on her side

Listen to the rules

to avoid the fools

running rampant

but staying stagnant

If you only head in the one direction

you will never find the finale

You got to find your correction

you better not dilly dally

You can be your own resurrection

if you change direction

so don't hide

Don't sit and abide

Change direction

to find your correction

Only then will you find your true connection
