As blue as the ocean

with a sandy rustle

speeding the motion

starting the hustle

A day feels like an hour

Awake through the night

nothing to devour

The first crack of light

brings me to the dream

Where have I gone?

What does it seem?

Always keeping a yawn

throughout the dawn

it catches me though

turns me into the dough

I lay with my punishment

without nourishment

Blinks become weighted

until I become faded

knowing this is fated

surreal poetry
