The Majestic Roman Colosseum

Whispers from Rome's Gladiatorial Past

In ancient Rome, where legends lie,

A monument ascends the sky.

The Colosseum, grand and vast,

A portal to a storied past.

Stones whisper tales of battles waged,

Where gladiators fiercely engaged.

Their spirits linger, strong and proud,

Their echoes ring through the crowd.

Beneath the endless Roman blue,

Its arches stand in noble hue.

A circle etched in history's page,

A symbol of a bygone age.

Within these walls, the crowds once roared,

For spectacles both loved and abhorred.

From dawn till dusk, the contests flared,

As lions roared and heroes bared.

Though time has weathered its ancient face,

And left its marks, it holds its place.

For still it stands, a timeless frame,

Immortalized in history's acclaim.

O Colosseum, ancient throne,

Your legacy in stone is known.

A symbol of a world once grand,

Eternal in this Roman land.
