A Poetic Ode to the Electrifying Beauty of Nature's Fury
As clouds roll in and darken the skies
The air turns thick, and the wind it sighs
Electricity crackles in the air
A storm is brewing, be prepared
As lightning strikes and thunder booms
Nature's power fills the room
Rain comes down in torrents strong
A symphony of sound and song
The world is bathed in a dim light
As the storm rages with all its might
Flashes of light illuminate the night
A dazzling display, a breathtaking sight
Nature's fury is a thing to behold
A reminder of its power so bold
In the midst of this mighty storm
I'm in awe of its majesty and form
So let the rain come down and thunder roar
I stand here, humbled and in awe
For in the midst of this powerful display
Nature's beauty takes my breath away.

the whirlwind and the wildfire
he is a whirlwind - chaos incarnate - torrents and turbulence filling the air with debris that now lands in my realm, before the rainclouds form. a massive front of low pressure dragged behind his highs. but he doesn't know i am a wildfire. his winds give me oxygen to breathe, but he doesn't like the heat and his emotions rain down. stormy tears to put the inferno out. the blaze of my fury subdued. his winds have changed direction, for now. exhausted by his own friction. the earth my fire burns left to renew as it needs to, parenting inventive convenience, for the cycle must continue. but the whirlwind returns, so curious, wanting to be close, and still unaware of how he affects my wild heart of fire. so, i burn and i hiss and i glow. a climax of explosive instinct - a natural reaction, but a hazard nonetheless. and the world demands i put my fire out and block his tornadic gusts. do it or they will do it for me, before they carry on about the weather, "... what a dangerous idea for the wildfire to be so reckless with the whirlwind..."

A domestic drama; rather, you're witnessing a millennium-old conflict over the fate of the entire planet (and possibly just a smA titanic struggle between wits and strength has been raging in the shadows for millennia: The Great Nibble vs. The Purrsecution. The cats, the furry fighters, the fascists of the feline world, occupy one corner. In the other, mice make up the squeaky squad, the small militia. The reward? Domination over the entire world (and possibly an especially tasty cheese wheel).
